CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Lady Blazers made a big impression over the weekend at the 2014 OCU Winter Classic, coming away with a trio of landslide victories.  Ohio Christian won their three games by margins of 30 points, 49 points, and 57 points.

OCU got things started on Thursday night, knocking off Maranatha Baptist Bible College by a score of 67-37.  The Trailblazers defeated the defending NCCAA champs behind 16 points by Asia Woodson and 11 points and 6 rebounds by Sarah Sunde.

The Blazers then took on Northland International University on Friday night.  The Blazers left no doubt as they ran away with a 95-46 blowout win.  OCU was led by the trio of Asia Woodson, Maddie Joseph, and Brittany Rucker who combined to outscore Northland by themselves with 50 points.  Woodson led the way for OCU with 19 points.  Maddie Joseph added 16 points in the win while Brittany Rucker went 4 of 7 from downtown on her way to 15 points.

Ohio Christian won their third game of the weekend on Saturday as they ousted visiting Kuyper College 105-48.  The Trailblazers placed 6 different scorers in double figures on the night.  Shekinah Alexander and Asia Woodson each scored 14 points.  Sarah Bechtel went 4 of 5 from three point range on her way to 13 points.  Maddie Joseph and Olivia Davis each had 12 points while Davis also tallied a double-double with 12 boards.  Javon Graham was strong in the middle with 11 points and 9 rebounds.

OCU is back in action on Tuesday night as they host longtime rival, Kentucky Christian University.  The game is set to tip at 6:00 PM in the Maxwell Leadership Center.
