NASHVILLE, TN - The OCU offense hit the 117 point mark on the scoreboard for the second time in the past week, defeating Welch College on the road by a score of 117-45.  The Trailblazers (19-9) have now won 13 consecutive games and are undefeated in 2014.  The OCU offense has been lighting up the nets in February, averaging an incredible 103.8 points per game.

The result was never in question as the Trailblazers ran away from the host Flames in the opening minutes of play.  OCU took a commanding 19-4 lead to start the game and headed into halftime with a comfortable 62-18 advantage.

The second half was no different as OCU went deep to their bench, playing all 15 players on the active roster.  It was the first time this season that all fifteen OCU players reached the scoring column in the same game.  An alley-oop slam dunk by Kenny Cooper from Wesley Russell with five minutes remaining provided the grand finale in what ended up being a 117-45 blowout victory.  The win wraps up a third consecutive undefeated Mid-East Region regular season for the Trailblazers.

Ernie McCoy once again led OCU with a game-high 19 points while also swiping 9 steals.  Danny Schrock was 5 of 9 from three on his way to 15 points.  Wesley Russell added 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists.  Nic Baker connected on a trio of three point baskets as he tallied 11 points in the contest.  Christian Mathias and Evan Mills each tossed in 9 points on the night.

With the game at Morthland College on Saturday being forfeited by the home team due to a lack of players, OCU will now set their focus on their game next Thursday at NCAA Division II affiliate, Cedarville University.  The game is set to begin at 7:45 PM.
