CIRCLEVILLE, OH - For the second straight game, the Ohio Christian University Trailblazers faced a Top-10 NAIA opponent in West Virginia Tech on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Bears, ranked fifth overall in the NAIA, would enter the game undefeated in conference play and tied for first place with Rio Grande and Asbury.

The game would be controlled throughout by West Virginia Tech, as the Trailblazers would struggle to find an offensive rhythm against the Golden Bears stingy defense. OCU would keep West Virginia in check for the majority of the game, however some defensive breakdowns late in the second half would lead to a big day for the Golden Bears. The game would end in a 6-0 score in favor of West Virginia. Overall, the Trailblazers would finish with two shots on goal, one each from Luis Aguirre and Blake Brigner.

"We faced another elite team today and I felt that we did really well for roughly 70 minutes," said Head Coach Josh Murton. "We are struggling to maintain possession and that has made things very dificult late in games." Next up the Trailblazers will be a home matchup against Carlow University of Thursday.
