CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Ohio Christian hosted the Battling Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan University on Tuesday night and were edged out after a 5 set battle in the Maxwell Center.

The Trailblazers (21-11) responded strongly after getting off to a slow start, dropping the first set 15-25 to their NCAA opponents.  OCU answered back by winning the second set 25-19 to even things up at 1-1.  In the third set, OCU pulled out a 26-24 nailbiter to take a 2-1 advantage.

Ohio Wesleyan would come up big in the fourth set, stealing the momentum with an emotional 30-28 win to even the match at 2-2.  With the win, OWU forced a winner-take-all fifth set.  The Trailblazers came up short in the fifth set, falling 15-11.

The loss breaks a three game winning streak for Ohio Christian.  The Trailblazers are back in action this Saturday when they host Crown College (TN) in their Mid-East Region regular season finale.  The match is scheduled for a 10:00 AM start.
