MIDWAY, KY - The 8th ranked Lady Trailblazers headed south to Midway College on Wednesday afternoon, falling to their NAIA opponents by a score of 2-1 in a very close match.  OCU came into this match playing their best soccer of the season after picking up wins over Shawnee State and Berea College.

Ohio Christian (7-7) wrapped up their regular season in the loss but finished at the .500 mark on the year despite a very challenging schedule.  The loss at Midway did break a two game winning streak against NAIA opponents for the Trailblazers.

The Blazers will now focus on getting healthy and fine tuned for the Mid-East Region Tournament next weekend at Johnson University in Knoxville, TN.  The team is still seeking their first regional championship and NCCAA National Tournament berth.  Ohio Christian enters the tournament with the #1 seed.
