CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Trailblazers (23-11) played their Mid-East Region finale on Saturday morning, defeating visiting Crown College (TN) in 3 sets.  With the win, Ohio Christian finishes an impressive 9-1 in regional play this year.  Their lone setback being a loss at Kentucky Christian earlier in the season.  Since then, OCU has reeled off 8 consecutive Mid-East Region victories.

The Blazers followed up their win against Crown with an impressive 4 set victory over visiting UC-Clermont in the final game of the Saturday tri-match.  With the win, OCU avenged a loss at UC-Clermont in their regular season opener back on August 23rd.  The Trailblazers were in control the entire match, winning the first set by a score of 25-16 and the second set 25-20.  Their only hiccup was in the third set as Clermont rallied to win 25-19.  

OCU shut the door on the UC-Clermont rally in the fourth set, coming away with a close 25-23 victory to win the match 3-1.

The Trailblazers will now prepare to host NAIA Cincinnati Christian University on Tuesday, October 29th in their final match before the Mid-East Region Tournament next weekend.  The match againt CCU is set to start at 7:00 PM on Tuesday with a live radio broadcast also available for those unable to attend.
