CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Lady Trailblazers (24-11) sent their seniors out in style on Senior Night with a five set win over Cincinnati Christian University on Tuesday evening.  OCU celebrated their seniors with a special presentation before the game as Mary Ashbaucher, Rachel Briggs, Kelli Manning, and Danielle Wipert took the court with their families.

That was just the start of a special night in the Maxwell Leadership Center as OCU came out and blitzed Cincinnati Christian in the first two sets.  The Blazers took the first set by a score of 25-20 and followed that up with a 25-22 victory in the second set to jump out to a quick 2-0 lead on the visiting Golden Eagles.

NAIA Cincinnati Christian refused to go away without a fight however, as they stormed back to win the third set 25-19.  The Golden Eagles evened things up at two sets each when they pulled out the fourth set 25-19, forcing an all or nothing fifth set.

In front of a fired up OCU crowd, the Trailblazer seniors led the rally in the fifth set.  Refusing to be denied in their final home game of their collegiate careers, OCU rallied for a 15-7 win in the fifth set to take the match 3-2.

The win is the 4th of the season for OCU against NAIA competition.  The Blazers are back in action this weekend as they travel to West Virginia to compete in Mid-East Regional Tournament pool play on Friday.  OCU enters the tournament with the #2 seed.
