MOUNT HOPE, WV - The OCU Trailblazers suffered a five set loss to KCU in the Mid-East Region Championship on Saturday.  OCU was seeking a 2nd straight regional title but came up just short.

OCU took the first set and the pivotal fourth set but fell in the fifth set by a score of 15-5. The Trailblazers (27-12) had earlier swept Crown College 3-0 to advance to the Regional Final.

Despite the setback, the Blazers were still considered for an at-large bid to the NCCAA National Tournament but were not selected.  OCU has been ranked in NCCAA Top Ten all season.
