CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Lady Trailblazers jumped out to a nine point second half lead against NAIA affiliate, Asbury University, on Saturday afternoon, but it would not be enough.  A late comeback by Asbury proved to be the difference as OCU was edged out 66-54 in the final day of the 2013 Think Pink Classic.

Led by freshman sensation, Maddie Joseph, the Trailblazers went into halftime with a 33-32 lead.  Joseph finished the game going 5 for 10 from three point range for a game-high 17 points.

Ohio Christian responded with a field goal and a free throw by Shekinah Alexander at the 5:20 mark to put the Blazers back in front, 52-50.  That is the last time the Lady Blazers would lead as Asbury finished the game with a 16-2 run over the final 4:51 to put the game away.

Joseph led OCU with 17 points and Shekinah Alexander added 10 points in the loss. Maritza Will added a team-high 8 rebounds to go along with 6 points on 3 of 3 shooting from the field.
