KISSIMMEE, FL - The Lady Blazers could not get a break when they needed it on Wednesday evening, falling to Providence College 2-1 in a closely contested match at the NCCAA National Tournament.

After being tied for most of the game at 1-1, the Trailblazers gave up an unlikely goal off of a deflection that found the back of the net and gave Providence a 2-1 advantage.  OCU was unable to get a goal to force overtime and Providence went on for the 2-1 victory in pool play.

With the loss, OCU still has hope but will now need help from Bob Jones University to advance.  If Bob Jones defeats Providence College on Thursday and the Trailblazers defeat Bob Jones University on Friday, it would come down to a goal differential tie-breaker to determine which team advances.  If Providence defeats Bob Jones on Friday, then they will win the pool play group with a 2-0 record and advance.
