CHILLICOTHE, OH - The Lady Blazers picked up their sixth consecutive win on Tuesday night, defeating the Hilltoppers of Ohio University Chillicothe 63-49.  

Using speed and athleticism, OCU once again used a dominate first half performance to build a comfortable lead.  After the first twenty minutes of play, Ohio Christian headed into halftime with a 36-17 lead.

OU-Chillicothe responded with a strong second half but it would not be enough as OCU proved to be too much.  The Trailblazers kept a double digit lead the rest of the way and went on to win 63-49.

Maritza Will led the way with a team-high 13 points to go along with 5 rebounds.  Olivia Davis was strong in the middle with 10 points and 8 boards.  Shekinah Alexander also hit double figures with 10 points and 4 assists.

OCU enjoyed a 41-27 rebounding advantage in the game with a 16-8 advantage on offensive rebounds.

The Trailblazers will seek out their 7th straight win in Knoxville, Tennessee on Friday night at Johnson University.  The game is set to tip at 6:00 PM.
