HILLSBORO, OH - The OCU Lady Trailblazers took on Southern State Community College on Wednesday and ran away with a 111-43 victory over the host Patriots.

The outcome was never in question as OCU reeled off 59 points in the first half.  Heading into the intermission, the Trailblazers held a comfortable 59-19 lead and would never look back.  

Ohio Christian continued their offensive assault in the second half.  With three different players scoring 20 or more points in the game, OCU scored another 52 points in the second half as they went on for the blowout win by a final score of 111-43.

Sharpshooter Brittany Rucker was on fire as she went 7 of 12 from three point range to score a game-high 23 points.  Olivia Davis and Asia Woodson each tossed in 21 points in the win.  Shekinah Alexander added 13 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals, and 5 assists.

OCU won the rebounding battle 45-26 with a season-high of 24 offensive rebounds.  The Trailblazer defense swiped 18 steals and forced 24 turnovers in the victory.

The Blazers will now prepare for their game at Kentucky Christian University next Tuesday.  The game is set to tip at 6:00 PM in Grayson, Kentucky.
