GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The Trailblazer trio of Asia Woodson, Olivia Davis, and Shekinah Alexander put OCU back on the winning track in Michigan, combining for 92 points in a pair of weekend road wins.  

OCU knocked off 7th ranked Grace Bible College on Friday night by a score of 63-51 and followed that up with an 81-50 blowout win over Kuyper College on Saturday.  The top ranked Trailblazers have now won 10 of their last 11 games, their only loss coming in overtime at #2 Kentucky Christian.

The Lady Blazers jumped out to a 31-20 lead against #7 Grace in the first half on Friday night.  The trio of Woodson, Davis, and Alexander each reached double digits to fuel the OCU win.  Ohio Christian enjoyed a 45-35 rebounding advantage and held Grace to 33.9% shooting as the Blazers came away with a big 63-51 victory.  Shekinah Alexander tossed in a game-high 16 points.  Asia Woodson added 14 points in the win.  Olivia Davis added 13 points and 7 rebounds.

OCU finished their weekend by dominating Kuyper College on Saturday afternoon.  The OCU defense swarmed Kuyper and built a commanding 43-16 lead heading into halftime.  Defense proved to be the difference as the Trailblazer "D" would force 24 Kuyper College turnovers in the game.  A 61-39 advantage on the glass kept OCU in control as the Blazers coasted to a 81-50 victory.  

Asia Woodson led the OCU offense with 21 points on 10 of 19 shooting from the field.  Olivia Davis was strong in the paint with 17 points and 7 rebounds.  Sarah Bechtel hit 4 of 10 from three point range on her way to 12 points.  Shekinah Alexander flirted with a triple-double, going for 11 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds.  Maritza Will added 8 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.

The Lady Blazers will take the court again on Tuesday night as they travel to Ohio University-Lancaster.  The game is scheduled for a 5:30 PM start.
