LANCASTER, OH - The Lady Blazers suffered their second heartbreaking one-point loss in the last seven days, falling at OU-Lancaster 66-65 on a last second shot at the buzzer on Tuesday night.

Ohio Christian managed to erase a 3 point halftime deficit and take control of the game in the second half behind the hot hand of one of their upperclassmen.  The Trailblazers took a 6 point lead on a three point basket by Sarah Bechtel with less than ten minutes remaining in regulation.  Bechtel went on to score a game-high 26 points as she knocked down 8 of 13 from three point range.

With 0:06 remaining in regulation, OCU found themselves inbounding the ball under their own basket with a 65-64 lead.  As the Trailblazers inbounded the ball, the ball was deflected and rolled out of bounds, where possession was awarded to OU-Lancaster with 0:04 seconds remaining.

The host Cougars inbounded the ball from the sideline for the final play.  After catching the pass, OU-Lancaster dribbled from the left wing towards the basket.  After two dribbles to the basket, the shot went up from about 8 feet and rattled in as the buzzer sounded, giving the Cougars the 66-65 win.

Sarah Bechtel led OCU with 26 points.  Asia Woodson added 19 points and a game-high 7 assists for the Trailblazers.  OCU shot an impressive 13 of 27 from the three point line for 48.1%.  OU-Lancaster enjoyed a 27 to 10 advantage on free throw attempts.  The Cougars went 18 of 27 from the charity stripe for 66.7%.  Ohio Christian was 6 of 10 for 60%.
