BATAVIA, OH - The Lady Trailblazers were shorthanded at UC-Clermont in their regular season finale, falling 63-49 to their USCAA opponents.  OCU finishes the regular season at 16-11 and heads into the Mid East Region Tournament as the #2 seed.

After trailing 33-25 at the half, the Blazers rallied to get within 5 points in the second half.  Clermont answered back with a three point basket by Dana Finney to push the lead back to 8 points.  Clermont held OCU at bay the rest of the way and went on for the 63-49 win.

Teresa Woerner scored a team-high 12 points as the freshman guard gave OCU a boost with a trio of three point baskets on the night.  Olivia Davis added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the loss.  Brittany Rucker tallied 10 points and 4 assists for the Trailblazers.  Maritza Will was strong in the paint with 14 rebounds.

UC-Clermont was led by Dana Finney with 21 points on 8 of 14 shooting.

The Trailblazers will now face Johnson University on Friday at 6:00 PM in the Mid-East Region Semifinal.  The winner will advance to face Kentucky Christian University in the Regional Championship on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
