GRAYSON, KY - Led by Nic Baker's 17 points, the #1 seeded Trailblazers knocked off #4 seed Johnson University in the Mid-East Region Quarterfinals by a score of 70-55 on Friday afternoon.

Ohio Christian took a 13-3 lead to open the game and went into halftime leading 35-22.  OCU pushed their advantage to 18 in the second half behind a trio of Nic Baker three point baskets to lead 52-34. The Trailblazers went on to win 70-55 to advance to the Mid-East Region Championship game.

Nic Baker scored a team high 17 points on 5 of 7 shooting from downtown.  Ernie McCoy added 15 points, 8 assists, and 6 steals.  Wesley Russell tallied 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists.  Kris Carius was big in the paint with 11 points and 4 rebounds.

The Trailblazers will face #2 seeded Kentucky Christian University at 3:00 PM on Saturday for the Mid-East Region Title.
