GRAYSON, KY - Shekinah Alexander paced five OCU players in double digits with a game-high 22 points on Friday night, leading the Blazers to a 78-57 victory over Johnson University in the Mid-East Regional Quarterfinals.

OCU worked to build a 7 point first half lead as they headed into the locker room with a 33-26 advantage.  The Blazers used a balanced team effort to close out the game in the second half and push their lead to 20 points before wrapping up with win.

Shekinah Alexander went 10 of 15 from the field to score her 22 points while also adding 7 assists and 6 rebounds.  Asia Woodson added 15 points while Brittany Rucker added 11 points.  Javon Graham and Olivia Davis played strong inside with 10 points each.

The Lady Blazers advance to the Mid-East Region Championship Game where they will take on #1 seed, Kentucky Christian University on Saturday at 1:00 PM.  OCU is seeking their first-ever region title.
