COLUMBUS, OH - Davis Wolff enjoyed another strong performance on the golf course over the weekend, scoring a 79 on day one of the Capital University Spring Invitational.  After one day of competition, Wolff was in 23rd place overall, going up against golfers from Capital University, Ohio Wesleyan University, Madonna University, and Ohio Dominican among others.

The second day was problematic as cold weather and fierce winds plagued the course.  Wolff tallied an 89 on the second day in the horrible conditions to finish with a total score of 168.  The score placed him 49th place on the leaderboard.

Head Coach Matt Decker was very pleased with the performance of his freshman.  "I'm very proud of Davis and his results. He held his own against a very tough field that was dominated by upperclassmen. We are looking forward to his next tournament in April."

Wolff will hit the links again on April 19th at the Mount Vernon Spring Invitational at Chapel Hill Golf Course.
