CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Lady Trailblazers took on NAIA affiliate, Indiana University-Southeast on Thursday night, dropping a pair of home games by scores of 6-3 and 8-0.

The Trailblazers showed well in the first game behind the solid pitching of Mackenna Jennings.  Jennings struck out two batters and allowed only three earned runs in 7 innings of action.  OCU fell victim to defensive miscues with 4 fielding errors.  Those mistakes led to 3 unearned runs which proved to be the margin of victory for IU-Southeast.

Courtney Teague got OCU on the board with an RBI single that scored Taylor Shiray in the 2nd inning.  OCU trailed 3-1 after two innings of play.

The OCU offense then responded with a strong 6th inning which resulted in a pair of OCU runs.  Trailing 6-1 heading into the 6th, McKenzie Epling followed up two walks with a two-RBI single, scoring Natalee Rogerson and Taylor Moore as OCU trailed 6-3.  That would prove to be the final run for OCU.  IU-Southeast held on for the 6-3 win.

In the finale, OCU would manage only one hit through five innings as IU-Southeast won by run rule, winning 8-0.

OCU is back in action on April 3rd as they travel to Franklin College in Indiana for a doubleheader.
