CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Matt Futch has completed his duties on the OCU sideline after making a big splash in just one season with the Lady Trailblazers.  Futch made the announcement earlier this week to Ohio Christain University players and administrators.

Under Futch, Ohio Christian went 18-14 on their way to a runner-up finish in the Mid-East Region Tournament during the 2013-14 season.  The Trailblazers received an at-large bid to the 2014 NCCAA National Tournament where they secured a 6th place finish.  Under Futch, the Trailblazers were 1-3 against longtime rival KCU, with two of the games going into overtime.

Futch coached two NCCAA All-Americans at OCU in Shekinah "Connor" Alexander and Asia Woodson.  His talented 2014 recruiting class will secure a successful future for the Lady Trailblazers both now and into the future.  Futch will soon be working in basketball operations at NCAA Division I affiliate, Radford University.

"I would like to thank Matt for his service to the team and I wish him the very best in his future coaching endeavors," stated OCU Director of Athletics, Ben Belleman.
