CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Ohio Christian University, coming off of a second consecutive NCCAA title, has unveiled its 2014-15 schedule for men's basketball which features 20 games against NCAA and NAIA programs.
The Trailblazers will play at home a total of 13 times during the year, beginning with the OCU Tipoff Classic on November 6-8. The 2013-14 team will be honored on November 7th in a special national championship ring ceremony before the game against Great Lakes Christian College. OCU will wrap up the season at home as the NCCAA National Tournament host.
Ohio Christian will be in several big tournaments this season, starting off with the Huntington University Hall of Fame Tournament. In December, the Blazers will head to Upland, Indiana to take part in the Ivanhoe Classic at Taylor University. A road trip to Florida is planned to start the new year as OCU will compete in a three day classic at Johnson University Florida.
Mid-East Region play will be highlighted by a pair of games against longtime rival, Kentucky Christian University. The Trailblazers will visit Grayson, Kentucky on January 27th for the first matchup against the Knights. OCU will host KCU in Circleville on February 17th as the campus celebrates Senior Night.
The postseason will start off in Knoxville, Tennessee as Johnson University will host the 2015 Mid-East Regional on February 27-28. Two weeks later, the 2015 NCCAA National Tournament will convene in the Maxwell Leadership Center from March 10-14. Ohio Christian will be seeking out a third straight national championship.
