CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The OCU Trailblazers won their season opener on Tuesday night, defeating NAIA affiliate Bluefield College in 4 sets.  The Trailblazers ran away with the first set, winning 25-15 to take a 1-0 lead.  

Bluefield rallied back in the second set and pulled out a 26-24 win to even things up at 1-1.  Ohio Christian refocused in the third set and came away victorious 25-20.  The Blazers put the Rams away in the fourth set, once again pulling out a 25-20 win to claim the match.

In game two against Campbellsville, OCU continued their exciting play through the first two sets with wins of 30-28 and 25-16.  With a 2-0 advantage heading into the third set, it appeared the Blazers were in control.  The Tigers rallied late in the third set to steal the momentum with a 31-29 win.  

Campbellsville won the fourth set by a score of 25-18 to even things up at 2-2.  The visiting Tigers then came away with a 15-9 rally in the fifth set to win a thrilling match.

The Trailblazers (1-1) are back in action this weekend as they travel to Kentucky to take on Midway College and University of Pikeville.
