CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Coach Grant Reynolds will make his first NCCAA Regional Tournament appereance as the Head Coach of the OCU baseball program. The Trailblazers recieved the fourth seed in the NCCAA Regional Tournament at Lee University. Coach Reynolds and the Trailblazers will open up tournament action on Tuesday, May 12th against fifth seed Johnson University, beginning at 1:30 PM EST. 


"I am excited, as it shows we are moving in the right direction as a program," stated Coach Grant Reynolds, "The team has done a great job maturing throughout the season." The Trailblazers are currently in the midst of a seven game winning streak, which finished out the regular season. "I believe we are getting hot at the right time and we look to continue that momentum into the postseason," said Coach Reynolds. 


Sophomore outfielder Tanner Holt (SO/Liberty Township, OH) said, " I am excited about allowing our seniors to get another shot at regionals and also possibly get to play on the big stage in Mason." The four seniors; Richie French, Trevor Whitesed (SR/Tarlton, OH), Mike Miller (SR/Columbus, OH), and Chris Mcllroy will be making their third apperance in the regional tournament. "These guys coming together as a team and sending us out with one last chance is a blessing," commented senior Mike Miller


Sophomore utility Jordan Dicks (SO/Jefferson, PA) noted Saturday, "Winners win games". Tournament host, Lee University, will have live stats for all games, including game audio for all Lee University games. "Our goals will be the same as the regular season, we take care of one of one", mentioned Coach Grant Reynolds.
