The Trailblazers got into a bit of trouble allowing 6 runs to cross home plate in the 8th inning. Danarius Williams (JR/Cincinnati, OH) came in delievering OCU out of a bases loaded jam in the 8th inning by striking out the 3 and 4 hole batters. Starting pitcher Chris Mcllroy commented about the two relief pitchers, "Big time players come in and make big time plays."
"Obviously we let it get closer than we would have liked, but it took character to grind out that win.
