CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Ohio Christian University Cross Country program released their 2015 schedule. This will be the first season for the Trailblazers to compete in the NAIA. Unlike some of the other OCU sports, the cross country team will be eligible for a post season run in the KIAC. The regular season for the Trailblazers looks like the following.

"I am excited as we enter our fifth year of competition in cross country," said Coach Diltz, "I am looking forward to competing in a conference championship meet for the first time.  As in the past we have prepared a challenging meet schedule that will help us to perform well in the post season."


The men's team is led by Dylan Newton (FR/Williamsport, OH), last year's MVP and Tim Allen (SO/McArthur, OH), last year's Most Improved Runner.  Jake Hart, 2012 MVP, will return this year after a two year absence.  Brett Jones (FR/McArthur, OH), who battled injuries last season, should add strength to the team. Kyle Benecke, a freshman from Olentangy Orange High School, enters OCU after an excellent high school career during which he ran a 16:21 5K. and a 1:57 800 M. Michael Cormack, Brock Shick and Jason Ash round out the 2015 roster.The women's team is led by returning MVP Kara Bandy (FR/Deshler, OH), a sophomore from Ashland high School.
