BETHANY, WV - The Men's and Women's Cross Country traveled to Bethany, West Virginia to compete in the Bethany Invitational on Saturday. The Men's program finished in 12th place out of 17 competing, while the Women's program finished 14th out of 17. Leading the way for the Trailblazers was Kyle Benecke, who finished in 18th with a time of 28:30. For the women, Kara Brandy lead the way for OCU finishing 48th with a time of 27:19.
"We ran well against good quality competition", stated Coach Diltz, "The results were good, especially in the muddy and hilly conditions." The OCU Cross Country Program gets back out on the course on September 19th at the Patty Forgey Invitational in Rio Grande, OH.
