CIRCLEVILLE, OH - OCU Baseball landed one of their top prospects on Tuesday afternoon as Jake Robinson signed his letter of intent in the Maxwell Leadership Center.

Robinson is coming off a stellar senior year at Westerville South where he helped lead his team to 17-10 league record under the direction of Head Coach Tim Bates.

Playing shortstop and pitcher, Jake excelled during his senior season, leading the team with a .338 batting average.  His 20 RBI's, 19 runs scored, and 23 stolen bases were also team highs.

On the mound, he hurled his way to a 2.88 earned run average as a senior.  He tossed 49 strikeouts in his 42.0 innings of work on the year.

Robinson was honored as Team MVP following his senior year in addition to earning 1st Team All-OCC recognition.  He was also named Honorable Mention All-District.

He joins an OCU Baseball Program that is seeking their first-ever National Championship after reaching the NCCAA World Series the past four seasons.
