CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Ohio Christian hosted their first KIAC Conference games with the women starting and the men to follow. The Trailblazers would suffer their first loss in KIAC Conference action as Rio Grande defeated OCU 86-78. This loss moves the Trailblazers to 10-4 overall and 0-1 in KIAC confernce play. 


"I am disappointed how we came out and let Rio bully us," said Coach Stockman, "We started to play hard and the way we know how to toward the end of the game, but it was just too late."


Evin Bartlett (SR/Huber Heights, OH) was a huge offensive spark for the Trailblazers with 32 points, 4 assists, and 5 rebounds. John Johnson (FR/South Point, OH) came off the bench and had 21 points of his own. Marquis Jackson (JR/Cleveland, OH) made his presence known with 6 steals and 8 points. For the team, Ohio Christian finished 28-67 from field goal range, 10-27 from beyond the arch, and 12-18 from the free throw line. 


The men's basketball program is back in action on Saturday, January 2, 2016 when they host Carlow University in KIAC conference play. Carlow is currently 3-6 overall and 0-5 in conference play.
