LINCOLN, IL - OCU Volleyball returns home to Ohio battle-tested after a very competitive weekend at Lincoln Christian University.  The 8th ranked Trailblazers went 1-3 on the weekend but played very close with some with some of the top competition in the NCCAA.

After defeating Grace Bible College and losing a close match to 6th ranked Manhattan Christian on Friday, the Trailblazers took on Grace University and host Lincoln Christian on Saturday.  OCU came away with a pair of 4 set losses but played close with both opponents.

Against NCCAA #4 Lincoln Christian, the Blazers lost set one by a slim margin with the score at 22-25.  Ohio Christian stole the momentum in the 2nd set as they came away with a 25-16 win.  Heading into the 3rd set knotted up at 1-1, Lincoln Christian pulled out a very close set, winning 28-26.  The Trailblazers refused to go away silently and battled to the end in the 4th set, eventually falling 22-25 to the 4th ranked squad from Lincoln.

OCU (6-4) is back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Richmond, Indiana to take on NCAA affiliate, Earlham College.  The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00PM.
