Jordan Girdler

Coach Blevins is excited to announce the commitment and signing of RHP/1B Jordan Girdler from Finneytown High School. "Jordan will add some much needed depth to our pitching staff and to our corner infield," said Blevins. "He has a drive to become a solid player who will help us in the near future." This most recent season Jordan compiled around 7 strikeouts pre 9 innings, while hitting just under .300, at .295. When asked why he chose OCU, Jordan replied "I chose OCU because they made me feel the most comfortable with my choice, I felt like I would have the best opportunity to excel in the surroundings of the school and coaching staff at OCU." Jordan joins a very exciting 2016 Recruiting class, which is the first under Coach Blevins since being promoted to the Trailblazers Head Coach this fall.


Andrew Klamfoth

Coach Blevins is very happy to announce the commitment and signing of Andrew Klamfoth, catcher and corner infielder from Big Walnut High School. "When Andrew came to visit I was a little hesitant because the one area on our team that is rock solid is our catching corps. But quickly I found out that Andrew was very different, he swings the stick lefty and with great pop." Blevins remarked during the signing.  "Andrew has a great family that we are really excited to get involved with our program. That's a huge emphasis of mine in recruiting is to find kids with a great background and from great High School programs. Andrew fits perfectly!" When asked why he chose OCU Andrew said, "The reason I chose OCU was because I felt like that was where God was leading me to go and where I feel I can grow more as a person and spiritually."  Andrew joins a very exciting 2016 Recruiting class, which is the first under Coach Blevins since being promoted to the Trailblazers Head Coach this fall.


Trevor Raymond

Coach Blevins is excited to announce the commitment and signing of Trevor Raymond, second basemen and pitcher from Teays Valley High School. "Trevor is a very athletic kid, who will add instant speed to our team. He has a lot of range at second base, along with really great bat control!" Coach Blevins accessed. "Not only will he jump in right away and add to our defense, he is very deceptive on the mound as well posting a 2.00 ERA in 35 and 1/3 innings over the summer." In 27 games for Teays Valley Trevor posted a .325 average and a .951 fielding percentage. "Playing at a division one high school will have Trevor ready to compete at the NAIA level. Not to mention since he is so local, it will really go a long way to expand our brand with the community. Those are just a couple of the many positives Trevor and his family will bring to our program," said Coach Blevins. When asked why he chose OCU, Trevor replied, "I chose OCU because I liked how that I heard that it was a great school and how honest Coach was with me about baseball. Also I love that it is so close to home." Trevor joins a very exciting 2016 Recruiting class, which is the first under Coach Blevins since being promoted to the Trailblazers Head Coach this fall.


Logan Hill

Coach Blevins Is excited to announce the commitment and signing of Logan Hill, middle infielder and Pitcher from East Knox High School. "Logan is a very versatile athlete. He has played a lot of baseball for East Knox, and has fared really well! He can play in the middle infield, or outfield, and is a really effective pitcher!" Blevins exclaimed. "Logan will jump right in and fit the mission of our program, improve our pitching, and give us a really nice speed option." Logan is going into his Senior year at East Knox with a career batting average of .364 and a .925 fielding percentage. Logan also has an ERA of 3.33 in 69 and 1/3 innings. "We are really excited to add Logan and his family into our program," Blevins said. When asked why he chose OCU, Logan stated, "I chose OCU because it felt like home. The college had the right major that best suited me. Also the coaching staff really helped me make my decision. It's just the right place for me!" Logan joins a very exciting 2016 Recruiting class, which is the first under Coach Blevins since being promoted to the Trailblazers Head Coach this fall.


Corey Wilson

Coach Blevins is excited to announce the commitment and signing of LHP Corey Wilson from Grove City High School. "I am thrilled to add Corey and his family to the Blazer Baseball family," Blevins remarked. "Corey will add instant efficiency to our pitching staff. He knows how to work the strike-zone and the corners of the plate." Corey comes off of a stellar year for him personally on the mound. In between his high school season and summer ball Wilson hurled 73 innings, only allowing 15 earned runs. Corey also totaled 6 wins and 3 saves. When asked why he chose OCU Corey stated, "I chose OCU because it was nothing short of amazing from the minute I set foot on campus. From the professors I met and the students I met, I am so excited to be a part of a great school." Corey joins a very exciting 2016 Recruiting class, which is the first under Coach Blevins since being promoted to the Trailblazers Head Coach this fall.
