FLORENCE, KY – The OCU baseball program traveled to Florence, Kentucky for a weekend series with Indiana University – South Bend. The Trailblazers would lose the first of three games on Friday night 5-2 in a nine inning contest. On Saturday, IUSB would complete the sweep with a 5-0 win in the first game, and a 4-3 comeback win in the second game. OCU moves to 1-5 overall on the season after a three game series with IU-SB.

"We played well against IUSB this weekend," said Coach Blevins, "Our pitchers did a great job limiting IUSB to 5 or less on the weekend. We will win a lot of games holding opponents to 5 or less runs. Our offense just needs to find their groove."

The Baseball program is back in action on Tuesday, as OSU-Lima comes to Ohio Christian for their home opener. The Trailblazers walked away with a victory the last time these two met. Come out and support the Trailblazers on Tuesday.
