WINONA LAKE, IN - The men's basketball program competed in the first round of the NCCAA DI National Tournament against Trinity International on Wednesday afternoon. Trinity would prove to be too much in a 79-89 Trailblazer loss. Late turnovers and an uncharacteristic three point shooting percentage at 38%, would hold the Trailblazers back in their first year in the NCCAA DI National Tournament.

"We had a lot of early mistakes," said Coach Tony Stockman, "We fell behind and couldn't catch up. Trinity took advantage of our mistakes, so we have to give them credit."

The Trailblazers will now move into the losers bracket of the tournament. They will face off with #7 seed Bluefield on Thursday afternoon at 12 pm EST.
