CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Ohio University - Chillicothe traveled to Ohio Christian on Thursday afternoon for double header action. With some offensive sparks from Isaiah Haley and Eric McClure, the Trailblazers would pull out two victories over the Hilltoppers. In game one, Michael Anderson pitched 6 solid innings, stranding runners on base. With the offensive spark from Isaiah Haley, a solo home run would give OCU the 3-1 edge in game one. In game two, the Hilltoppers leading 3-2 in the 4th inning, Eric McClure drove a very convincing 2 run home run over the left field fence to give OCU the lead. With a couple more runs pushed across and Luke Diamond coming in to close out the game in three back end scoreless innings, the Trailblazers took game two, 6-3.

Coach Blevins would have this to say after both games on Thursday, "We are turning a corner on offense, starting to put the ball in play a little more. With two freshman stepped up on the mound today in Michael Anderson and Luke Diamond. Having the offensive sparks from Isaiah and Eric, brought the bats to life."

With these two victories, OCU moves to 3-13 overall on the season and stay 0-8 in conference play. The Trailblazers try to turn the conference record around this weekend as the first year program of Cincinnati Christian comes to OCU for a four game weekend series. Games begin at noon on Friday.
