CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The OCU baseball program hosted Ohio State University - Lima Campus on Tuesday afternoon. The Trailblazers would take a big 9-1 victory over the Barons of OSU-Lima. Freshman pitcher Michael Anderson threw a complete game one hitter for the Trailblazers in the 9-1 victory.

The Trailblazers came out firing in inning number one from a Brian Daria double and Isaiah Haley's RBI ground out, scoring 2. In the second inning, OCU went back to work at the plate, scoring one more from a Jordan Dicks double. In the 5th, a Tanner Holt and Ethan Skowronski back to back double would put another run on the board for the Trailblazers. Going into the 6th inning, leading 4-1, a Brian Daria lead-off single and an Antonio Dozier double would lead to 3 more runs, giving OCU a comfortable 7-1 lead. Running out of pitchers for the Barons, OCU would tack on two more runs in the bottom of the 8th, pushing the Trailblazers lead to 9-1. Michael Anderson would run out to the mound in the top of the 9th, only throwing 83 pitches before the start of inning number 9. The Barons would nearly go 3 up 3 down in the 9th, but an unfortunate pop fly dropped in the infield would lead to one more batter for Anderson to face. A 1-3 putout would close the door on a complete one hit game for Anderson would add to a 9-1 victory in favor of OCU.

"We did a great job of putting the ball in play," said Coach Blevins, "We came together as a team today. This was a great team win for us."
