CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Trailblazers knocked off Kentucky Christian University for the first time ever on Friday afternoon, coming away with a blowout victory by a score of 8-1.  

Ohio Christian got on the board first as Lexi Paas streaked up the left side of the field and fired a quick strike past the KCU keeper to give the Trailblazers a 1-0 lead in the first 5 minutes of play.

Katelyn Danner then found her groove as she blasted a trio of goals to give the Trailblazers a 5-0 lead heading into halftime.

OCU kept the onslaught going into the second half behind goals by Chanel McFarlin, Rachel Bingaman(2), and Kateln Danner(4).  KCU rallied for a goal to get on the board late in the second half to make it 8-1.  Following a severe injury to the keeper for KCU, the game was ended in the 86th minute.

Ohio Christian enjoyed an 18-8 shooting advantage over Kentucky Christian.  Lexi Paas added a game-high three assists to go with her one goal.  

The two teams will meet again next Wednesday as OCU travels to Grayson, Kentucky for a 3:00PM match.
