GROVE CITY, OH - Two weeks ago, the OCU Trailblazers' Soccer team came up short of defeating the Bears from Shawnee State on the road. On Saturday, OCU had the goal of returning the favor and rebounding in their rematch with the Bears. Early on, it looked like the Trailblazers would run away with the game, after Brent Palmer and Jon Perger both found the back of the net within the first 30 minutes of the game to make the score 2-0 at the half. However, the second half proved to be a different story, as the Bears came storming back, scoring twice in the final twelve minutes to force extra time. After a scoreless first overtime, the Bears' Caspar Nolte scored at the 107 minute mark to win the game 3-2. Despite the loss, the team will have a lot of positive areas to reflect on as they move into conference play this week against the University of Rio Grande.
