CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Trailblazers entered Wednesday evening with the hope of giving their coach a win, which would mark Head Coach Tony Stockman's 100th while at OCU. This is Stockman's fifth season, and emotions were high as family and friends were in attendance hoping to see a win. The game would not prove to be easy, however, as the Mustangs from Marygrove came to play, forcing OCU into a ten point deficit at the half. During the break, Coach Stockman urged his men to stay the course and just work hard: "I told them to play hard, and we will be fine, and once we started playing hard our rythym was there and we made our shots." Despite a close battle down to the final couple of minutes, the Trailblazers would manage to pull away thanks to some free throws in the final minute to win the game 91-82.One of the stars of the game was Senior Forward Gary Hoover. Hoover finished the evening with 17 points and 16 rebounds to help lead the comeback. Senior Marquis Jackson also had another good evening, finishing with 29 points and 7 assists.

Following the game, Coach Stockman had this to say about what it means to reach the 100th win milestone here at OCU: "It means I have great support around me. From the school to the athletic director and so on, it allows me to get to do this, and we have a good group of players!" OCU will now travel to Indiana to play in the Goshen College Tournament this weekend where the Trailblazers will play both Goshen and Bethel College.
