MT, HOPE, WV - The OCU Trailblazers (7-3) headed to West Virginia on Tuesday to take on a scrappy Appalachian Bible College squad.  The 5th ranked Blazers pulled out a 2-1 road win to move to 7-0 in Mid-East Region play this year.

Alex Marstiller blasted his 6th goal of the season to give the Trailblazers a boost offensively.  Brent Palmer also got involved in the scoring as well, connecting on his first goal of the season to help OCU build a 2-1 lead.  Michael Duffy added his 2nd assist of the season to round out the OCU offense.

The Trailblazers enjoyed a 19-9 advantage on total shots in the game.  OCU also had 11 shots on goal compared to just 2 by Appalachian.  To date, the Trailblazer defense has allowed a total of 3 goals in their 7 Mid-East Region games.

OCU will now prepare for their road trip to Wilmore, Kentucky on Friday night where they will take on NAIA affiliate, Asbury University.  The match is scheduled for a 7:00PM start and will be played under the lights.
