WILMORE, KY - The OCU Trailblazers suffered a 7-0 road loss at Asbury University on Friday night, falling to their NAIA opponent under the lights in Wilmore.  Asbury dominated the game from the onset, and went on to score all seven of their goals in the first half.  Fueled by a trio of goals by Garrett Davis, the Eagles were in control from start to finish on Friday night.

Trailing big at the half, the Trailblazers did respond with a stout defensive effort in the final 45 minutes.  The OCU defense did not allow another goal in the second half, but the offense struggled to find a rhythm.

OCU found themselves with a 7-16 disadvantage on total shots.  Asbury also had 9-1 advantage in regards to shots on goal.

The Trailblazers are back in action on Tuesday when they take on another NAIA opponent in Campbellsville University.  The Blazers are heading south to Kentucky for the 7:00PM non-conference match.
