MARION, IN - The Trailblazer men hit the road on Friday afternoon, traveling to take on one of the top ranked NAIA teams in Indiana Wesleyan University. Coming off of a close loss on the road last weekend against IU East, the Trailblazers were hoping the extra rest and preparation would be key to a win on Friday night. The game would remain within reach at the halftime break, as OCU would trail by only seven. The Wildcats would come out hot in the second half, however, and would go on to win 82-63. The Trailblazers were still without leading scorer Marquis Jackson, who is dealing with an injury. Junior Jalen Hearn would lead the team in scoring with 16 points, while Senior Nic Baker scored 10 points. Senior Gary Hoover led the team in rebounds with 11.
"It was a very good team we played today. They wore us down. We need to keep working and continue to get better," said Head Coach Tony Stockman.
