PIPPA PASSES, KY - The Ohio Christian University Trailblazers got back to their winning ways on Tuesday evening, as they defeated the Alice Lloyd Eagles by the score of 91-63. After a suffering a rough stretch of games in December, OCU came out well rested and on fire, as the team would shoot just over fifty percent from the field and 50% from 3-PT. The Eagles struggled to keep up with the Trailblazers' offensive pace, as the lead would grow to 20 points headed to the halftime break. Alice Lloyd kept pace in the second half, but could not make a move to cut the deficit. Marquis Jackson led the team in scoring with 20 points, followed closely by Freshman Austin Marciniak with 18, who went 6-10 from 3-PT. The win puts the Trailblazers at 6-10 with a conference record of 1-3. Next up for OCU will be a matchup with Asbury University on Saturday in Kentucky.

"We came out tonight and shot the ball very well, but our defense is ultimately what got us the lead. We played hard the whole night and made them take difficult shots," said Head Coach Tony Stockman.
