WILMORE, KY - On a cold day in Kentucky, there was no lack of offense when the Trailblazers and Eagles clashed in an RSC matchup. The game was expected to be a fast paced battle, and both teams lived up to the hype. The game would go to the half 61-52, with the Trailblazers holding the nine point advantage. The second half would be the same pace, as the Trailblazers would score 65 more points leading to the 126-104 win. OCU would finish the game with 19 three pointers, which ties the school record set last season at West Virginia Tech. It was also the first time the Trailblazers have defeated Asbury in the school's history. Six Trailblazers finished the game in double digits, led by Marquis Jackson (SR/Cleveland, OH) with 30 points and Gary Hoover (SR/Columbus, OH) with 29 points. Jalen Hearn (JR/Columbus, OH) also had a productive day, scoring 18 points while going 4-5 from 3-PT.

"We knew coming in that we would need to make shots and rebound to beat Asbury," said Head Coach Tony Stockman. "Our guys did a great job of executing the game plan and playing hard. Great win for our team, but we just need to keep working hard and getting better."
