CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Ohio Christian came out on the losing end of a 1-0 final on Saturday afternoon, falling to visiting Great Lakes Christian College from Michigan on homecoming.  With the setback, the Trailblazers suffer their first loss of the season against an NCCAA Division II opponent after coming into the game with a 7-0 mark.

Great Lakes scored the only goal of the game in the first half to take a 1-0 lead.  The Trailblazers had a handful of opportunities to tie the score but could not capitalize when they needed it the most.  A first half breakaway past the goalkeeper yielded nothing when the shot sailed about a foot wide to the right.

The Trailblazers had two good looks at the goal in the final ten minutes, but it was just not their day.  Great Lakes worked the clock in the closing moments, killing any hopes of forcing overtime for OCU.

Ohio Christian will try and regroup before heading east to take on NCAA Division III powerhouse, Waynesburg College on Tuesday.  The match is set to start in Pennsylvania at 6:00 PM.
