CIRCLEVILLE, OH - The Trailblazer soccer program added two key pieces this offseason as the team looks to continue to grow within the NAIA. After losing a good group of seniors, Head Coach Josh Murton was challenged with looking for the right pieces to fill their shoes. The first signee is Andrew Smith, son of Gary and Kim Smith, from Dansville, Michigan. Andrew was a four year varsity player for Dansville High School and was also named as part of the All-District team. His career ambition includes becoming a high school teacher and coach following graduation.

The second signee of the Winter was local kid Blake Brigner, son of Duane and Tammie Brigner. Blake is from Mount Sterling, Ohio and was a four year member of the Westfall HS soccer team. Blake's accomplishments include 2014 First Team All-District, 2016 First Team All-District, and being selected as a member of the 2016 Senior All-Star Team. Blake hopes to major in Sports Management and Business in his time at OCU.

"We are very excited to add both Andrew and Blake," said Head Coach Josh Murton. "They fit in well with who we are as a team and both of them will individually bring added value to our program."
