CIRCLEVILLE, OH – Trailblazer Tennis as well as Head Coach Brent Martin are pleased to announce the signing Nathan Gaines, an all-conference tennis player from Circleville, OH.   Nathan is a 2016 graduate of Circleville High School where he played four years of tennis.  Nathan, son of Steve and Shawna Gaines, was 2nd team All-MSL in both 2015 and 2016, playing number two singles with a 10-5 record.  He spent a few matches at the top spot but played 2nd singles for most of his junior and senior years. 

 

After graduation, Nathan enrolled in Ohio University-Chillicothe where he was a member of the club tennis team playing in the third singles slot.   Coach Martin says, "Nathan will help our team immediately. Having played tennis for several years, he will have a lot of experience to bring to the team. I'm excited for his potential and I see him being a great member of the tennis team for years to come.  He has won a lot of matches at the high school level and I look forward to him winning matches for us at the collegiate level as well." 

 

Nathan plans to study Government at Ohio Christian University and is a resident of Circleville.   He played high school tennis for long-time CHS tennis coach Dan Campbell and his parents are
