BLUFFTON, OH - The 2017 Fall Season kicked off for the OCU Men's Golf Program over a week ago, and after seeing early success with Michael Cooper bringing home a second place medal at IU East, the Trailblazers would continue to fire low scores, tallying consecutive scores of 315 to shoot 630 overall.

Their combined score of 630 would put them in second place overall, 16 shots behind first place UNOH. The Trailblazers would be led Freshmen DJ Graham (T5 - 77,78) and Michael Cooper (T7 - 80,76), as well as Sophomore Dylan Wilkerson (T7 - 79,77). The rest of the team would consist of Freshman Casey Moore (T21 - 79,84) and Junior Evan Brouwer (T25 - 80,85).

Based on the harsh weather conditions and for still being early in the season, new Head Coach Lane Patrick was very pleased with the team's effort and approach: "I thought the team played very well for playing in high winds and cold and rainy conditions. Both courses that they played they had never seen before, so I couldn't have asked for much more from them." The team will now look forward to their next event, a two day invitational at Alice Lloyd on September 11-12.
